Richard Blakesley

Former senior investment banker Richard has been working to build better systems for startup fundraising for 10 years.

He designed and commercialised the “Capital Pilot” Investability Rating system which was launched in 2016 and developed into the pre-eminent startup rating tool in the UK.

In 2022 he designed and launched the revolutionary “Boost Fund” - a high-volume systematic startup investment system which made investment selections based on the startup rating. The fund completed 50 investments in just 3 months in 2022.



In 2024, Richard launched Venture Cubed, the entirely new next generation rating system and business model for high-growth startups and everyday economy SMEs.

Rahul has worked with Richard for 3 years in product development and data analytics roles.

On launch of Venture Cubed Rahul championed a “domain expertise first” tech build strategy enabling rapid development and iteration. 

Using cutting-edge visual programming tools coupled with over 100 calls per rating to fine-tuned Large Language Models, Rahul has designed and built an industrial scale rating and data analytics platform.
